They just keep getting youngeršŸŒļø...and we stay the same age.

GM. This is Easy Pars. The golf newsletter that is constantly shocked that Scheffler, Rahm, and Hovland are all under 30.

Hereā€™s what weā€™ve got for you today:

  • The young talent is off the charts

  • LIV gets a low-key star

  • Team USA Olympic golf outfits just dropped šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡øšŸ‘€

Big Moves in Golfā€™s Youngest Players

Weā€™ve talked a lot about the next gen of pro golf. From Charlie Woods, Annika and John Dalyā€™s sons, and many more. Weā€™re in for some great PGA/LIV golf in the next 5-10.

BUTā€¦

Weā€™ve got great older, yet still young, players right now.

Last week, Nick Dunlap secured his tour card and became the first amateur to win a PGA event since Phil in 1991.

Well, just yesterday 19-year old Aldrich Potgeiter snatched the record for the youngest ever winner on the Korn Ferry Tour (taking it from none other than Jason Day).

Hereā€™s the thing. Many of the top players are young.

I think we forget just how young big shots, like Rahm and Scheffler, are. Maybe itā€™s because Scottie looks like he needs to throw on a suit and join the crew from Mad Men.

Or maybe itā€™s that Rahm looks like heā€™s a few gym sessions away from starring in the sequel to 300, next to Gerard Butler.

But they, and 30 other players under 30, are in the top 100 players of the world!

Golf has its problems, but a shortage of talented players is not one of them.

More LIV Defection Rumors

Adrian Meronk isnā€™t a name you toss around with your buddies on the course, like Scheffler or Tiger.

As one X user put it:

But heā€™s a great golfer.

Ready to feel bad you donā€™t know him? Meronk was player of the year on the DP World Tourā€¦in 2023. As in, ā€œJust namedā€, kinda like Scottie was in the PGA.

He also just finished second to Rory (in his incredible 4th Dubai win)ā€¦last week.

Meronk is a good golfer, and well known in the E.U. (after all, heā€™s from Poland).

Ready to feel angry? Heā€™s going to LIV Golf.

Rumor has it (aka NuclrGolf) he was snubbed for the EU Ryder Cup team and the move allegedly helped him choose to grab that cash. The move further cements our (and a lot of peopleā€™s) theory that golf is going global and LIV intends to capitalize.

But speaking of international teams competing ā€”

New Team USA Uniforms are Here

Remember the U.S. Ryder Cup uniforms? We do.

Just yesterday, news broke that J. Linderberg is designing Team USAā€™s fit, at least for the golf team.

The designs? Letā€™s just say they make us miss the 90s. Hereā€™s a look in another X post from @nuclrgolf:

Letā€™s just hope our team doesnā€™t embarrass us, Ryder Cup style. Letā€™s get it USA, USA!
