BREAKING: He got an exemption to the U.S. Open
GM. This is Easy Pars. The golf newsletter that hits you like a fresh tee time at the exact time you wanted.
Here’s what we’ve got for you today:
Tiger’s Sun Day Red is here
Plus he went on Fallon and looked at memes of himself.
And he just got invited to the U.S. Open at Torrey Pines
It’s official. You can now buy Sun Day Red merch
But it ain’t cheap.
Polos are $130. A t-shirt is $90. Hoodies go up to $200 👀
I’m sure plenty of people are buying, but it better be Merino wool if this gator is spending that kinda money on breathable comfort.
It honestly brings into question the current market of golf brands.

Tiger makes the rounds for Sun Day Red
To promote the store opening of the new brand, Tiger went on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon
We wrote about it here:
The interview was fairly standard, explaining how he loves wearing red on Sunday, talking about family, etc.. Tiger looked uncomfortable for a minute when Fallon brought out a few memes of Tiger shaking hands with a tree.
It was a famous image from the Masters, when Tiger shook hands with Verne Lundquist.
Lundquist was behind the tree. It’s a hilarious segment you can catch here:
Tiger’s in for the U.S. Open
Just a few short days after Charlie failed to advance in an Open Qualifier, Tiger has received a special exemption to play.
It’s the first time Tiger has had to have an exemption in 28 years 👀

After his performance at the Masters, how do you think he’ll fair?
How will Tiger do at the U.S. Open? |
Around the Links 🏌️♂️
A lot of talk about PGA and money going around. But how do they actually get paid? Take a listen to this short video of the Bryan Bros on Peter Finch’s podcast.
This scratch golfer plays one of the toughest PGA courses. Oh, and he pauses in his backswing, like full stop. Does he break par from the black tees?
Super interesting concept in this video. Play at a course that’s hosted a major. See what was the cut line was, during the event. Play 36 holes and see if you make it.

That’s today’s issue, golfer. Is it nice enough where you are to play a round?
Here’s hoping for a Friday evening tee time wherever you are in the 🌍.
Later gator,
E.
