Tiger's YouTube Debut and Lululemon is a golf brand?

+ are the new drivers worth getting?

GM. This is Easy Pars. The golf newsletter that is excited to see more Lululemon and DEWALT on the course soon!

Here’s what we’ve got for you today:

  • Tiger breaks the internet.

  • Taylormade forgets “fargiveness” and makes one of the best drivers ever?

  • Nike dropping golf is open season for brands big and small.

It’s official, Tiger is a YouTuber

More and more pros are entering the world of YouTube. To gain traction, the golf elites are joining the biggest YT golfers.

The likes of:

  • Good Good

  • Rick Shiels

  • Bob Does Sports

  • Grant Horvat

  • Micah Morris

  • George and Wesley Bryan

And about a dozen more!

Pros are even starting their own channels. Top players, like Bryson DeChambeau and Akshay Bhatia are a couple of tour pros turned YouTubers.

For money? Nah. Bryson, for example, wants to inspire the next generation of golfers. And he’s not off to a bad start!

But this week something big happened — for YouTube and Golf.

Tiger teamed up with Barstool Sports golf brand, Foreplay. Sure, Woods has been on YouTube for promotional videos, etc.. But this marks the first appearance in the growing world of GolfTube.

And what he did was nothing short of fantastic and entertaining.

We won’t ruin it, but you can read about it and see the video here:

Taylormade’s Qi10. Bad name for the best driver?

Over the last week, two major golf manufacturers announced new top-tier drivers in their line up — Callaway and Taylormade.

  • Callaway launched the “Paradym AI Smoke” line of drivers

  • Taylormade announced the “Qi10” driver family

Right off the bat, one company (Callaway) went for cool-sounding marketing buzzwords, like “AI” and “Smoke”, lol.

Taylormade took their name straight outta the lab.

You see, this driver was forged in a years long “quest for inertia” hence the “Qi". And the 10? There is something about 10,000 dealing with inertia, but unfortunately we’re not physicists.

That said, you can see Taylormade’s best fitter in the industry explain it to one of the YouTubers we mentioned here:

Other brands seize an opportunity

We thought Nike and Tiger parting ways was big, but the apparel news breaking this week is wild!

First, we had Jason Day join Malbon, a popular golf brand. He’s also sporting a DEWALT logo.

Now, Malbon has entered the ladies league by signing LPGA superstar Charlie Hull.

And guess who signed with Lululemon? Min Woo Lee!!

One things for sure — Nike leaving the golf apparel space means new life in game fashion.

Remember the YT influencers we’ve been mentioning? Many have their own golf brands that are crushing with the next generation of the game.

Pretty soon everyone will be dressing like Viktor Hovland on the course 😂

That said, we asked AI to create a golf shirt, and let me tell you, don’t hate it.

Would you wear it?

Meme of the Day

😂😂

That’s what we’ve got today, golfer. How about you? Gonna hit the tee box in some Lulu, come spring?

Later gator,

E.
